Research Infrastructure Formation for Low-Carbon Society Construction

Research Center for Smart Organic Electronic Device based on Nano-Processing Technology

The research center for smart organo-electronic devices (based on nano-processing technology) is to focus on the problem resolution regarding research and development of high-performance organic electronic devices, more specifically those occurring in R&D process of organic electro luminescence (OEL) devices for photo-regulated high-efficiency illumination/display by use of nano-processing technology. Practical realization of OEL devices, which are indispensable for the development of energy-saving illumination/display device of the next generation, calls for the technology to manufacture such high-efficiency devices in large format. The objective of this research center is to realize commercially viable OEL device that contributes to low-carbon society.
