8月9日、国際事業化研究センター3階セミナーホール（秦ホール）において、第65回 有機エレクトロニクス研究センター講演会を開催しました。
今回は、IRDEP 研究プロジェクトリーダー J.-F. Guillemoles 博士を講演者としてお迎えし "From photons to electrons, a dual pathway to efficient energy conversion and material characterization"という題で講演して頂きました。
講演には、多くの研究者、学生が参加し、大盛況のうちに終了しました。

In the present energy transition, photovoltaics carries ambitious expectations that clean, available and safe energy can be supplied to meet everyone's basic needs. There are many obstacles on the way and this presentation will discuss some of them, after giving an overview of the present situation.
Then present limitations to the photovoltaic conversion will be presented, together with some advanced approaches to meet the upper bound, actually above 85%.
Finally, the concept of reciprocity in photon to electron conversion will be explained, and the way it can be used to make better solar cells or better LEDs will be discussed.
