Industrial Technology Research Subsidization (Aspiring Researchers Grant)

Organic light emitting diodes have been expected to serve as one of the alternatives to fluorescent or incandescent lamp. Upper limit of internal quantum efficiency of a fluorescent OLED is considered to be 25% because 75% of excitons quenched as non-radiative triplet excitons. We aim improvement of the efficiency of fluorescent OLEDs with triplet-singlet conversion process.
