Yamagata University released that "Iide Battery Research Institute Co., Ltd.", which is a venture company to develop high-performance lithium-ion battery applied to next-generation robot and electric automobile, was established on July 28. This company is aiming to achieve long drive, long life and smaller sized battery, based in xEV Analysis Center, DBAT of Yamagata University (Iide Town). It is the 13th university-originated ventures of Yamagata University and it is the 1st one in the Battery Device Department.
