Yamagata newspapers (29 March) put the headlines, entitled “Yonezawa Technical High School developed a wheel chair with the organic electroluminescence illuminator.” The newspapers reported that the students of Yonezawa Technical High School developed a wheel chair with the organic electroluminescence panel on the back of the footplate, which can light up the front side of the chair. The organic EL panel is thinner than conventional light devices. The panel makes it easier for the users to get on and off the wheel chair. The high school will continue to make more improvement for the practical use.
