[Press report]Hirofumi Hirano, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, visited the Research Center for Organic Electronics. (Mainichi, Yamagata, Yonezawa newspapers, 8 April)

The Minister Hirano visited the Research Center for Organic Electronics on 7 April. Prof. Junji Kido gave him explanations for the big clean room and the experimental rooms of organic electroluminescence. The Minister Hirano observed the light of state-of-the-art technology illuminated by actual organic electroluminescence. The Minister Hirano said that the Faculty of Engineering in Yamagata University is an excellent model for the cooperation among the industries, administrations, and university, which will contribute to activating the regional economy. He also said that the Japanese government would like to be involved in supporting this research.
