The 2nd Lecture Session was held inviting Mr. Ken-ichi Terauchi, President, ICTECH Inc. on June 23 (Thu.), 2011, at ROCE conference room.
Mr. Terauchi’s lecture, titled “Development of Flexible OLED Wall Display,” detailed on the process development of the 40 inch-class wall display, employing printing technology on the resin substrate for the TFT formation and patterning process of organic EL elements, and research pathways consisting the fundamental technology development at Yamagata University, followed by the development of mass production technology at a display manufacturer, toward the target of commercial release of the device by the year 2015. The enthusiasm of the audience, consisting of some 60 researchers and students, filled the room until the session’s closure.
