Prof. A.J. Heeger gave the keynote lecture, entitled, “Future Technologies Enabled by New Materials and Creative New Ideas.” He mentioned, “I have dedicated my life for the research to develop new materials. Even now, I face many challenges, but I enjoy solving those difficulties.”
The state-of-the-art technologies of Research Center for Organic Electronics in Yamagata University were introduced, and this was the first international symposium to realize the industrialization by exchanging the information. There were more than 300 people attended, including the international representatives from companies, universities, and research centers. The hall was filled with excitement and it finished in success.
