Yamagata newspapers on May 11 put the headlines, entitled “New research organization plan for Research Center for Organic Electronics.” The newspaper has released an article of “Research institute for frontier organic material.” Mr. Yuki, the president of Yamagata University, stated, “In order to become the leader in this world, it is necessary to strengthen the basics in this field. To achieve this goal, I have determined to establish the “Research institute for frontier organic material” in faculty of engineering. I hope that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology approve this program.” He also thinks that he would firmly create the environment that would allow personnel to do the thorough research, from science through basics and applied development research.
