The 3rd Lecture Session was held inviting Dr. Tsukasa Yoshida (Assoc. Prof., Gifu University) on June 24 (Fri.), 2011, at ROCE conference room.
Dr. Yoshida’s lecture, titled as “Development of film-type colorful solar cells prepared by self-assembled electrodeposition of nano-structure zinc oxide/pigment hybrid film,” presented basics of self-assembled electrodeposition technique and reviewed the latest progress in the industry-academia collaboration in the research and development of light-weight and low-cost photovoltaic cells in film format, manufactured by the aforesaid technology. Subsequent discussion focused on the unfolding near future of solar photovoltaic power generation. Enthusiastic audience of some 50 researchers and students gathered in the room.
