Yamagata University released that they have established a venture business using 3D Gel Printer technology to develop and manufacture industrial equipments, robots, medical instruments on November 14. So far gel material was difficult to be processed and had limited uses, Prof Hidemitsu FURUKAWA developed the world-first 3D Gel Printer and high intensity gel material, which is able to make molding freely. This technology is expected to support the development of soft devices and the commercialization of the industrial products.
