In the talk I would like to report the device design of photodetector (PD) diodes and their material selection for organic photodetector diodes studied in our group. For the PD response of the PD diodes mainly focus on 365 nm ultraviolent light with visible-blind, 280 nm-deep ultraviolent and full wavelength from 200 nm to 900 nm. And the potential application of the PD devices will be provided. The design concept and working mechanism for the PDs will be discussed. Such as, the fact how to affect of offset of LUMOs between D- and A-molecules and interfacial excited state on PD performance will be argued. On the other hand the device design and used materials on achieving pure exciplex EL emission with high EL intensity also argued.
