Iide town is making a start on new industrial clusters centering on "xEV IIDE Research Center of Yamagata University", a lithium-ion battery R&D institute, from this April. The town will keep an analysis research building in a good condition and make a "food stall village" to promote the exchange with local residents, accelerating to realize a fusion of nature, culture and the most advanced technology, which is the genetic strategy of town development.
