Yamagata University originated venture company VEGEA (Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture) released that they started a food dehydration laboratory at a site of closed school with the cooperation of Agano city goverment (Niigata Prefecture). At the laboratory, they are proceeding to make new products utilizing non-standard agricultural products and Yamagata University originated technology that can dehydrate agricultural products at normal temperature and make them into powder without deteriorating taste. This is Vegea's 1st institution.
