Yamagata University released that a new open innovation R&D center under academic-industrial collaboration was established to break new ground for inkjet industry on March, 7. In Europe, the inkjet technology has already applied for productization, while in Japan it is an in-house technology and has not been opened to each other, and this R&D center is aiming to regain the delay. Around 20 industries related to inkjet field will take part in this center.
