Yamagata University will make up an Open Innovation Organization to advance industry-academia collaboration in October. Experts outside of univeristy will join this organization, which is a special support team for the joint R&D with the industries. Currently the research system between each researcher and industry is small and unclear. Yamagata University will make a project management committing to the results thoroughly, and aim to increase joint research funds to 3 times around 2.4 billion yen by 2025.
