On December 12th, The 50th ROEL Lecture Session was held at Conference room on the 4th floor in Research Center for Organic Electronics.
As a guest speaker, we invited Dr. Shino Hiiragi, Assi. Prof. of The University of Tokyo and she gave a lecture entitled "Knowledge of Management Accounting necessary for research/development engineers at start-up of a New Project."

More than 20 researchers attended to the lecture, and it finished in success.

The important thing to establish a business model for selling after all the technology you need was developed, it is the general knowledge about Management Accounting. Especially now, as globalization proceeds, it would not be enough to survive if you have only technical skills.
Under this circumstance, it is important to master the basic idea of Management Accounting as a technical engineer, such as how to make a decision about an investment in a new project/idea, what and how to manage, and how to create a good money flow and recover the capital.
