Organic Thin-Film Device Consorthium consisted of Yamagata University and eighteen companies including major chemical companies succeeded to develop a polymeric material which can be substituted for ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) used in displays and touch panels. ITO contains rare metal and it is expected to lower the production cost.
