Twelve high school students, selected from many applicants, have participated in the Science Camp, which started since last year. Yesterday, the camp started by the Prof. Kido’s lecture, and then various experiments were performed, which includes the synthesis of organic fluorescent materials, the analysis of optical physicality, and the production of printable organic EL. Today, the production and evaluation of organic EL device were first performed. Then, after the valuable lecture was held by Dr. Liu, the camp finally finished with the summary of the experiments. At the end of the camp, Prof. Kido says to the children “we greatly hope that in the future, you will become great scientists and the leaders of Japanese science societies.”
