“The Society for Organic EL Practical Application” composed of 5 enterprises has developed a Japanese paper lighting named “YUKI ANDON”, which is introduced Organic EL technology. This is a first step to make mass production of Organic EL –next generation luminaire- towards the industrialization. Compared with the old style -small production-, the price dropped to one third of its original one due to the new technology. The new products will be put on the market on Nov, 13 and the market development promoting is being considered to start like Japanese style interior lighting in high-end ryokan.
