Yamagata University joined and set a booth in Special Exhibition at G7 Science & Technology Ministers’ Meeting in Tsukuba, Ibaraki (2016.5.15-21, Epochal Tsukuba International Congress Center).

Envisioning a Smart Future for next generation, Yamagata University (YU) with six research centers and a technology demonstration facility for organic materials and electronics, has been spearheading integrated organic material systems R&D based on open-innovation networks of the Center of Innovation Program (MEXT and JST initiatives) and international industrial collaborations with groups like Organic Electronics Saxony.

At the exhibition, YU presents some of its most recent innovative and advanced technologies from these efforts – flexible and transparent organic LED lighting panels, ultra-thin organic LED panels, transparent organic solar cells, and roll-to-roll printed electronic circuits.
