【News Release】(Nikkei) Natural Process Factory (NPF), a venture company of Yamagata University, developed a new western confectionery using local specialty green soybeans “Dadacha Mame”.

Collaborated with an old-established confectionery store in Yamagata Prefecture, Natural Process Factory (NPF), a venture company of Yamagata University, developed a new western confectionery using local specialty green soybeans “Dadacha Mame”, which has rich flavor, but short harvest time and is difficult to be stored.

NPF’s drying technology makes it possible to preserve “Dadacha Mame” a long time. Also it is expected that this new confectionery could be on sale throughout the year and become a popular souvenir of Yamagata Prefecture.
